COVID-19 Resources

Yes, we are open and seeing patients. When the pandemic began, the Department of Homeland Security published guidance to identify essential critical infrastructure workers during the COVID-19 response. You can click here for the full document, but chiropractors are listed on page 7 under Healthcare / Public Health. By being open at this time, we are able to divert patients with musculoskeletal pains away from the urgent cares and emergency rooms. This allows the urgent cares and emergency rooms to better handle the demands of COVID-19.

Precautions we are taking in the office

As of April 3, 2023, the California mask mandate for healthcare facilities has been lifted. We are following this guidance. We do still have face masks, and are happy to wear them if any patient would prefer to be seen with masks. Dr. Emily has been fully vaccinated since February 2021 and was boosted in November 2021, September 2022, and September 2023.

We have hand sanitizer available at the front desk for any patients who wish to disinfect their hands before/after their appointment.

We are screening patients as they come in to ensure the health and safety of all of those in the office.

We are asking any patients that have a cough or fever to please stay at home. If they are concerned about their symptoms, we urge them to reach out to their primary care provider.

If you are required to wait to be seen, you can wait in your car, and we can call/text you when we are ready for your appointment.

We have tap to pay options available to minimize potential spread of germs, and we disinfect our signature pad after every transaction.

If you have any questions, comments, or concerns, don’t hesitate to reach out to the office.
